A 30-year-old man and 40-year-old woman escaped an accidental house fire at Wilmot this morning with minor injuries.
Four fire crews attended the blaze on Lake Barrington Road about 4.36am.
The residence was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
Police said the fire completely destroyed the house with damage estimated at $300,000.
Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire, which started in the bathroom of the house.
