THE Swans have told Jude Bolton there is a spot on the list next year for him – if he wants it.
Bolton, who turns 33 in March, met coach John Longmire and chief executive Andrew Ireland last week.
It’s now up to the hardnut midfielder-forward to determine whether he wants to add to a 301-game career that has included two premierships.
”We talked about the fact there is a spot there for him if he wants to continue,” Ireland said yesterday.
”I think he has to weigh up if there are other opportunities, if it’s the right time to retire, having played 300 games and finishing in a premiership side.
”He would like to get in the media and do some stuff there. What we have said is: ‘Go away, spend a bit of time and get all the information you need and come back and let us know’.”
